Established in 1955, Midwest Free Community Papers (MFCP) is the oldest Free Community Paper association in the nation. MFCP was founded to help its members with every aspect of their publishing business.
MFCP is led by an elected board of directors whose focus is on providing the utmost value to our members.
We do this through networking, annual conferences, virtual and onsite training, regular publisher calls, a robust display and classified ad network, free special section content, CVC audits and so much more.

"At one of MFCP’s conferences, I attended an idea exchange session and a fellow member shared their word search promotion. I took it and ran with the idea and in 2020 alone we grossed $16,800 on the promotion.”
— Jason Sethre, Filmore County Journal, a 15,000-circulation free publication located in southeast Minnesota
